Dong-jun “Rascal” Kim (born July 23, 1998) is a South Korean coach and former player, currently working as an Assistant Coach for the Dallas Fuel.
During his career as a player, he was an integral part of the pre-OWL KongDoo Panthera/C9 KongDoo core, alongside most of whom he entered the Overwatch League’s inaugural season as part of the London Spitfire. After an ill-fated detour playing with the Dallas Fuel, Rascal was picked up by NRG Esports and soon displayed strong individual performance in Contenders. This earned him a promotion to the San Francisco Shock, with whom he won back-to-back OWL championships in 2019 and 2020.
Rascal is currently ranked #514 in highest overall earnings, and #71 in highest earnings for players from South Korea.
The most money that Rascal has won from a single tournament was $150,000.00 from Overwatch League 2020 – Playoffs – Grand Finals on October 10, 2020. He placed 1st, making up 43.57% of his total prize money won.
On September 29, 2019, Rascal arrived at the $100,000 milestone, winning $110,000.00 and placing 1st at Overwatch League – Season 2 Playoffs. Prize money from 15 tournaments got him to that point.
